Sunrise Rocks at Sunrise Park in Lake Bluff, Illinois has long been a community event with a strong philanthropic mission, raising funds for local organizations including the Zachary Porter Fund, Alliance for Excellence, and Bluffers in Need Fund.
The Zachary Porter Fund honors the life of a young man who deeply valued growing up in Lake Bluff and the opportunities it provided. The fund helps expand access to enrichment programs including music lessons, sports, park district activities, and field trips for children who may not otherwise have these opportunities.
For over 25 years, the Alliance for Excellence has supported the Lake Bluff Public School District by funding programs that benefit both teachers and students, enhancing educational opportunities across the community.
The Bluffers in Need Fund ensures that no student in Lake Bluff is held back by financial hardship. Managed by the district, it provides direct support to students in need, helping them access essential resources and succeed in their education.
